Who is responsible for your data
ImmHome (immhome.com) is a trading name of Cold Heath Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16374118, whose registered office is 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Cold Heath Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights set out below, contact us at info@immhome.com.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identity and contact data. Your name, email address, phone number, billing address and delivery address.
- Order and transaction data. The items you buy, order value, order history, and confirmation that payment was taken. We do not store your full card number; payment details are handled by our payment processors.
- Device and usage data. Your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring site, and the pages you view on our store.
- Communications. The content of emails or messages you send us, and your marketing preferences.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To fulfil your order — taking payment, arranging dispatch and delivery, sending confirmations and invoices, and handling returns, refunds and warranty claims. Lawful basis: performance of a contract with you.
- To provide customer support — answering your questions and resolving problems. Lawful basis: performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in supporting our customers.
- To prevent fraud — screening orders and protecting the store. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and misuse.
- To send marketing emails — only where you have opted in. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- To understand how the store is used — analytics and improvement. Lawful basis: your consent where the law requires it, and otherwise our legitimate interest in improving the store, subject to the choices described in the cookies section below.
- To meet legal obligations — tax, accounting and consumer law record keeping. Lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the providers and partners who help us run the store, and only with what they need:
- Shopify, which hosts and powers our online store.
- Payment processors, who take payment securely and carry out their own fraud checks.
- Our manufacturing and fulfilment partners in China, who receive your name, delivery address and phone number in order to prepare and dispatch your order.
- Shipping carriers and customs brokers, who need your delivery details, and whose customs declarations may require your name and address to be provided to the customs authority in your country.
- Email and analytics providers, where you have consented to marketing or analytics.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to respond to lawful requests, or to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Because our products are dispatched from our partners' facilities in China, and because some of our service providers are based outside the United Kingdom, your personal information is transferred internationally. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards, which may include the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision covering the destination country.
You can ask us for more detail about the safeguards applying to a particular transfer by emailing info@immhome.com.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We group them into three categories:
- Strictly necessary. Required for the store to work — keeping items in your cart, maintaining your session, processing checkout, and security. These are always set, because the store cannot function without them.
- Analytics and performance. Help us understand which pages are visited and where visitors have difficulty, so we can improve the store.
- Marketing and advertising. Used to measure the performance of our advertising and, where applicable, to show you relevant ads on other sites.
Your choices
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, analytics and marketing cookies are not set unless you accept them through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the cookie preferences link, or by emailing info@immhome.com to have your preferences reset.
If you are elsewhere, including the United States, these cookies may be set when you use the store. You can opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page, and we honour the Global Privacy Control signal where the law requires it.
Wherever you are, you can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the store working, including the cart and checkout.
How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for six years from the end of the financial year in which the order was placed, which is the period required by UK tax and accounting law. Customer support correspondence is kept for up to two years. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe, and are removed shortly afterwards. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.
You can ask us to delete your personal information sooner, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it for one of the reasons above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal information: to access it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we process it, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent where our processing relies on consent.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, these rights arise under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. To exercise any of them, email info@immhome.com. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, reachable at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. If you are in the EEA, you can complain to the supervisory authority in your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The current version is always available on this page.
